Baby with a beard?!

Today my 5 month old son was cooing at daddy and patting his face. It was so cute! But then it hit me- some day my tiny little man will be a grown up with a beard of his own. NOOOOOOOOOO! I looked closer at his tiny plump little face and for now I'm glad that he's still my little guy :)

5 second rule?

So everyone has heard of the 5 second rule- food touches the floor bit so long as you grab it within 5 seconds it's probably safe to eat? Well as a Mom I've noticed more than a few times food, sometimes unrecognizable as such, going in to my 18 month old daughters mouth. Then it hits me- the 5 second rule has just become the 5 hour rule!
